The Brievora vault runs on your computer. It has no account and sends us nothing: we never see your notes or your clients’ data. We sell no data and show no ads.

Purchase

You pay on the checkout page of Link, Stripe’s payment service, which sells Brievora as merchant of record. Your card details stay with Stripe and Link: we never receive them. Stripe sends us your email address, the license you bought, the amount, the currency and the language you chose. We keep them to send your download links, send you new ones, email you about each new version (one-click unsubscribe) and answer your questions, for as long as you use the license and at most 10 years after the purchase. Link processes the payment under its own privacy policy.

Brievora Lite

To get Lite, you give your email address and tick a consent box. We keep the address, the language, the date and the text you agreed to. Nothing is sent to you until you click the link in the confirmation email (double opt-in). After that, you get one email each time a new version of Lite ships, with a one-click unsubscribe link.

An unconfirmed request is deleted after 30 days. After you unsubscribe, we stop writing to you and keep the proof of your consent for at most 3 years.

Contact form

The contact form is provided by Tally (Belgium). It collects your email, your name if you give it, the subject and your message, then forwards them to us by email. We keep them while we exchange, then for at most 2 years.

Analytics

If you click “Accept” in the banner, the site loads Google Analytics 4. It measures pages viewed, clicks on purchase and download buttons, film playback and purchases, with your country and device type. Google signals and ad personalization are turned off, and Google keeps this data for 14 months. If you decline, nothing is sent to Google. You can change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

Cookies

  • brievora_consent: your choice in the banner, 6 months.
  • currency and lang: the currency and language you chose, 1 year.
  • Session cookie (checkout and new-link pages): protects the forms, deleted when you close the browser.
  • _ga and _ga_…: Google Analytics, only after “Accept”, up to 2 years.

The first four are needed for the site to work and do not require consent.

Security and logs

To block abuse, we count form submissions per IP address and per email address, in an encrypted form that cannot be traced back, deleted after 48 hours. We also record the date and edition of each download, without IP address, and keep these records and the site’s technical log for at most 12 months. The host and Cloudflare process your IP address to serve and protect the site.

  • Stripe and Link (Ireland, United States): payment, taxes, receipts.
  • Infomaniak (Switzerland): hosting of the site and database.
  • Cloudflare (United States): domain names, site protection, incoming email.
  • Resend (United States, sending from Ireland): the site’s emails and new-version announcements.
  • Tally (Belgium): contact form.
  • Google (Ireland, United States): Google Analytics after consent, and our email inbox.

When data leaves Switzerland or the European Union, the transfer relies on the Swiss-US or EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or to receive it in a common format, and you can object to its processing or withdraw your consent. Write to : we reply within 30 days. You can also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or the data protection authority of your country in the European Union.
